Sayonara Monotone (2023)

Movie about dealing with past trauma.

The synopsis is kinda a huge spoiler for many parts of the movie, so best to go into it blind.

This movie can be quite heavy, so if you're not comfortable with themes of child abuse, bullying, suicide and depression, you should stay away.

Nevertheless, I hope you can find something to enjoy in this movie. Personally, I really loved the string quartet scenes and of course Motoki's scenes! It was an interesting project to figure out since the truth gets revealed gradually, similarly to my other project Butterfly Knife.
